1. I am not a religious person so why would I want to consult Chaplain Charlie about a problem or issue.

Problems and questions in the workplace do not just involve people who are “religious”. Also, even if you are not a believer, you probably work with some. Problems are common to us all.

2. How can Chaplain Charlie, being a Christian, relate to my problem when I am Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, etc.?

Just because Chaplain Charlie is a Christian does not mean that he cannot relate to the problems of people of other Faiths. The Christian Faith calls us to love our neighbor as our equal, not just to love other Christians. Chaplain Charlie also has friendly resources to draw upon that assist in answering your questions regardless of your religious affiliation.

3. I don’t want to be “preached to”, so why would I use this site to air a problem?

What are you afraid of? Chaplain Charlie does not always promise to agree with you, but may offer commiseration and suggestions regarding your issue, as objectively as possible. Besides, the service is FREE. What have you got to lose?

4. How do I know that my problem will be kept confidential?

Chaplain Charlie is bound by legal, ethical, religious and moral codes of conduct to keep anything that you communicate privately confidential. If you communicate in the blog format the information is public. Chaplain Charlie is an independent consultant and is not compensated or affiliated with any corporate entity. So, don’t worry, Big Brother is NOT watching you.

5. What will this really cost me?

Chaplain Charlie offers this service free of charge.

6. Is Chaplain Charlie associated with the military?

Boy, are you paranoid. NO. Although the Corporate Chaplain is set up on the same model as a military chaplain, Chaplain Charlie and corporatechaplainchat.com is not affiliated or associated with the military, although we welcome all military personnel to use the service.
